Hard Cider and Good Health
Welcome to 2021! We managed to make it through the craziness of 2020, and we feel so grateful. With the first few days of the year already behind us, and resolutions stronger than ever we are ready to jump into our plans full steam ahead.
Last year we introduced a new year-round flavor, as well as a rotating small-batch offering called the Little Orchard Series. Each month exploring a different flavor combination or profile. Overall, we showcased a total of 7 new and different flavor options from pineapple-coconut to cranberry and juniper.
Each of these ciders is gluten-free and contains no added sugar because we love making a product that isn’t bad for you to drink. We take a lot of time and care to ensure that we produce the best possible product for as many people as possible. For us, that means sourcing our ingredients from local, and non-local fair-trade providers.
The World Health Organization’s suggestions for maintaining a healthy diet and lifestyle include limiting sugar intake and staying physically active.
Similarly, the Centers for Disease Control discourages the consumption of added sugars in both adults and children.
Choosing products that fit a well-balanced diet can be really tricky. We hope to reduce the confusion when it comes to your alcoholic beverage of choice and feel so fortunate to be able to offer quality hard ciders that meet a variety of dietary needs.
Turn over a new leaf this year, or keep the roots that you’ve grown goin’ strong and choose the drink that doesn’t require a resolution. The newest flavor of the Little Orchard Series drops tomorrow, January 20th for growlers to go.
